The big question is, what do you do with your helmet? You could carry it inside with you, but then when the chicks come up to you after having been duly impressed by your singing prowess, it’s kind of awkward. Or you could keep the helmet on, but that might be even worse. What you need is HelmetSecure, a new full-face motorcycle helmet lock. The patent-pending product permanently attaches to the motorcycle, so it is always available. Not only that, but its use does not widen the motorcycle, and it holds the helmet high on the forks away from dirt and hot exhaust, just where it should be. “We are responding to the need for a well-designed and custom-engineered helmet lock that gives the rider the ability to walk away from their motorcycle unencumbered by a helmet,” said Trevor Weyland, designer of the lock and motorcycle enthusiast. Using hidden bolts, the lock permanently wraps around the motorcycle handlebar, and it can be customized to the three standard diameters of round handlebars. (As if you didn’t know, those diameters are 7/8, 1 and 1¼ inches.) A tough 15-inch cable is pre-coiled and stored securely in an integral part of the lock’s frame when not in use. When in use, the cable loops through the face of the full-face helmet, bringing it close to the upper frame of the motorcycle. The HelmetSecure full-face helmet lock comes in sleek chrome finish and costs $59.99 plus shipping. Next Driving Today News>>Comment on this article:More Driving Today NewsLegendary Drives
