Chrysler Slashes Racing Budget

The recent headline noted that Chrysler plans to slash its overall NASCAR budget by more than 30 percent in 2009. The giant reduction in racing expenditures was laid off to the result of the merger between Dale Earnhardt, Inc. and Chip Ganassi Racing, the result of which will be three fewer Dodge cars in Sprint Cup next season. But the much larger question is, come spring, will there be a Chrysler as we know it?
