Charter a Bus Simply and Easily

Many parents now charter buses for their Boy Scout troops, Brownies or Indian Princess organizations, and clubs frequently charter buses for ski trips or just a long night on the town.  Now there is a resource to make the charter process much easier.  BusRates, which recently launched after a 2004 pilot run, is the most complete and categorized online directory of over 4,300 charter bus companies located throughout the U.S. and Canada.

So far it has received very positive response from independent bus owner companies and the organizations and individuals who charter buses. In its first two months of operation, BusRates has helped over 17,000 bus charter buyers inquire and book transactions with bus-owning companies.

The site has categorized its bus listings by the nine bus types: minibuses, school buses, entertainer coaches, executive coaches, limousine buses, trolleys, double-decker buses, vans and deluxe motor coaches. Listing over 4,300 companies, BusRates takes the guesswork out of chartering a bus. The directory serves as a guide to consumers on all aspects of bus renting, allowing for convenient searches by bus type, local rates, specifications, amenities and inventory as well as searches for current tours and events in cities across the U.S. and worldwide. It provides consumers with a simple and easy way to locate a bus and driver that is best suited for their trip or tour.

"We are extremely excited about BusRates initial results and know we can increase this number substantially as more bus owners participate," said Mark Greer, founder and CEO, BusRates. "As we continue to grow, it will be just a matter of time before the majority of charter bus companies in the U.S. and Canada will look to BusRates to reach new markets and build better relationships with their customers."

The southwest corner of South Dakota is a tourist's dream. Since the rest of the state is a little flat and unspectacular, both our drives are in the southwest.
