Auto Tools for Women Introduced

Many men struggle with the age-old question of which one of the jumper cables goes on the positive terminal? Now, with the launch of its Pink Auto Kit, Tomboy Tools makes it easier for women (and men) to understand the proper use of auto jumper cables.

“Jump-starting or charging an auto battery is such a necessary function in everyday life, but people have always been apprehensive when placing the cables on the battery,” said Janet Rickstrew, Tomboy Tools’ CEO and co-founder. “Our new ‘Pink for Positive’ message instills confidence, which is right in line with our company mission and takes away any of the guesswork, especially in stressful situations like having a dead battery when away from home.”

The Pink Auto Kit comes in a pink canvas bag with pink and black jumper cables, pink digital tire gauge, pink LED aluminum flashlight, pink rubber gloves and a pink extendable screwdriver. The Pink Auto Kit is the largest of the new products launched by Tomboy Tools. Other new pink tools that are now available from Tomboy Tools include the Pink Mini-Scraper, Pink Caulking Kit, Pink Bypass Pruner, Pink Pliers Set and Pink 5-in-1 Painting Tool.
