Look Alive

Seeing is not only believing; it can also be the difference between life and death when you’re driving. So the ne Rayzer wide-beam driving light, a product of Swedish innovation, could redefine the concept of auxiliary lighting. It is said to be the first auxiliary light mounted inside the vehicle, and it offers superior illumination and visibility.

“Poor, reduced visibility during nighttime driving accounts for more than 60 percent of traffic fatalities in the U.S.,” said Kenneth Konet, president of Visualeyes Inc., marketer of the product. “Taking an innovative and unique approach to this problem, we aim to considerably improve visibility, reduce nighttime driving risks and provide a safer driving experience with the new Rayzer, based on its continued success in Sweden.”

Mounted on the inside of the windshield behind the rearview mirror, Rayzer’s unique placement at the driver’s eye level provides a wider field of illumination than headlights alone. It employs HID Xenon technology, offering a light spectrum that corresponds more closely to the eye’s natural spectrum, plus a long life span. Unlike with traditional auxiliary lights mounted on the exterior of vehicles, drivers won’t sacrifice design or aerodynamics of the vehicle for superior visibility. It also includes a unique modular docking plate that enables easy dismounting and sharing among multiple vehicles. The docking plate makes moving the light convenient and helps prevent the risk of theft.
