Seeking a 50-100 percent Mileage Increase?

You know what they say about things that seem too good to be true. But if a breakthrough technology pans out, drivers struggling with high gas prices may have another option the next time they hit the road. A new system offered by Pro Motors Group is claimed to allow you to convert your vehicle into a hydrogen hybrid, which can dramatically boost its gas mileage.

The modification is what the company describes as “a unique fuel cell system,” and the brain of the system is a computer that communicates with the car’s computer to harness the power of hydrogen. By using electricity from the vehicle battery, the fuel cell separates water into oxygen and hydrogen and blends the hydrogen with the gasoline fuel. This adds energy to the fuel so each gallon of gas does more work, netting you increased mileage per tankful. The company says that on a 3,000-mile cross country test drive, a car equipped with the hydrogen hybrid system averaged 55 miles to the gallon.

After two years of research and development of the system, Pro Motors Group has partnered with 4 Wheel Parts to offer nationwide installation of the hydrogen hybrid system. To date, the company claims that about 250 to 300 cars have been converted.
