Graduating From Catalogs to Colleges

It was bound to happen sometime. The “Minimizer Twins” -- Tyler and Trevor Kruckeberg -- who have been featured in catalog spreads and ads for plastic fenders and associated products for 12 years now, are graduating from Blooming Prairie High School in, of course, Blooming Prairie, Minn. The twin sons of Minimizer company President and CEO Craig Kruckeberg have been featured in advertisements and catalogs since the age of five, and they have become widely recognized as the face(s) of Minimizer by truckers, distributors and others involved in the trucking industry. Mainstays at industry trade shows, Tyler and Trevor have also logged thousands of cross country miles traveling with their dad to industry events.

Post-graduation, the twins will take separate routes. Tyler will attend Riverland Community College in Austin, Minn., pursuing a degree in graphic design. Trevor plans to attend Riverland Community College in Albert Lea, Minn., to study diesel mechanics. As for the fate of the Minimizer Twins, the duo will continue to appear in Minimizer advertisements and catalogs. In fact, at least one of the two wants to follow in his grandfather’s and father’s footsteps.

“Keeping Minimizer a family-owned business is important to me. I am hoping that one day I can take it over,” said Trevor.
